Basic Proposal Format |
There is no prescribed format for the proposals. However, the following template may be helpful. |
| Part 1: Eligibility Information |
Please provide information on the following: - Nationality - Date of Birth - Marital Status - The year of completion of Masters’ degree and Subject - Are you enrolled full-time in a Ph.D. Programme - Name of University where you are enrolled for Ph.D. - The topic of your Ph.D. thesis - Is your proposed thesis approved by your supervising Professor |
| Part II: Basic proposal format |
| State concisely how your theme addresses human development – either in theory, applications or policies Lay down the objectives of the work, the research/media questions or issues that are to be explored, what the project hopes to achieve and how human development concerns are tackled. State clearly the methodology of work and how it relates to meeting the objectives of the work. Include a realistic timeline for the key activities List clearly what outputs will be delivered (e.g. Ph.D. Thesis accepted by the University, film or documentary, broadcast materials, published articles, short stories published etc)
Draw upon a detailed budget plan After stating what the project will produce, explain how they will be disseminated to the target beneficiaries |

| Attach your CV with the application and proposal. Also provide us a scanned copy of your citizenship Provide names of 3 referees for your proposal with whom the Selection Committee may contact. |
